The Teachers’ Lounge

“As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.” Mr. Fred Rogers

It does not take much to make a teacher feel like they are alone in their quest to help the students before them.  This site is a collaborative effort to remind ourselves that we are a community of educators and it is through our shared vision and expertise that we will create the greatest opportunities for our students, their families and the communities that we serve.

This site is a dynamic entity, gaining depth and force from the members who use it, add to it, and seek refuge it in.  The sub pages are broken down into curriculum areas, with grade levels noted on each of those pages.  The blog features Julie’s thoughts and insights based upon her experience and the great work she witnesses through the teachers of McGrath Elementary in Worcester.
